Adventure 1 will be in Manistee around the middle of
July right after we leave the Saginaw Bay Walleye fishing.
This is where we will be until October. Starting in July is when the salmon
start to stage off the port of Manistee
These adult salmon are feeding getting ready to make that final run up the
Manistee River to spawn.
Adult salmon sometime tip the scale over 25 lbs. as a bonus we also catch Coho
Salmon,
Steelhead, Lake Trout, and sometime a Brown Trout.
In September-October fishing continues to be great with adult
salmon fishing winding down and that's when Steelhead fishing
and Coho Salmon are most of the catch along with 2-3 year old King salmon. This
time of year its not uncommon
to have 20-25 steelhead on in a trip.
So if your looking for your fishing skills to be tested and
to get a cooler full of fish you should book early as a lot
of dates are booked a year in advance plus weekends fill up fast so if your
